OBJECTS of the Charity are: - 

"The relief and the advancement of education of the Hearing Impaired of all ages within the Scarborough / Ryedale area of North Yorkshire, in particular by promoting Lip-reading and other activities which will enable the Hearing Impaired to communicate more effectively, and the provision of up-to-date information on technical aids, literature, and other help available by way of exhibitions, demonstrations, meetings, lectures, classes, seminars and training courses to allow them to take a full place in society"
